On Saturday, June 16, 2018, our Savior called one of his angels home.  Angela L. Allen was born to the parentage of the late Earnest G. Allen and Mary B. Allen.  She was born and raised in Oxford, North Carolina.

Angela, was educated in the Granville County School system and graduated from J.F. Webb High School in 1982.  She joined Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age and later attended Good Shepherd Ministries on occasion.

She was known by many as "Angie" or "Ann". She loved sports and played softball in high school and most of her young adult life.  She enjoyed watching all of the children in the family play basketball and would always come to their games to show her support.  She had a big heart and did not hesitate to care for anyone who was in need.   She did an extraordinary job caring for both of her parents and her loving cousin, Wanda Bumper when they were ill, while still finding the time to care for any young child that needed her babysitting assistance.

She leaves to cherish her lifelong soul mate, James "Jimmy" Green, Oxford NC. One sister, Carol Williams (Rodney) and one brother, Earnest A. Allen (Natalie), both of Oxford NC.  Three nephews, Warren Allen (Anita), Clarence "CJ" Williams and Elik Allen, all of Oxford NC.  Two great nephews, Wykise Allen and Jamari Williams, Oxford NC.  One great niece, Tamia Williams, Oxford NC, Three aunts, Mildred Burwell, Bernice Wiggins and Eunice Eaton, all of Oxford NC.  Six cousins, Lamorris, Michael, Tammy, Shelia, Tyrone and Tonya who were like her siblings and a host of devoted friends, cousins and God children.
