DaQuan was born on May 1, 1994 in Patterson, New Jersey. He passed on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his home in Oxford, North Carolina.

He is survived by his mother Latisha Nicole Brannick of the home; four children, Tristen Brannick and Treyson Brannick both of Farmville, Virginia, Tayonna Brannick and Avionna Keziah both of Oxford, North Carolina and a precious bundle of joy on the way; three brothers, Rahgrer McDowell and Tyheem McDowell both of Hampton, Virginia and Lahvante Umstead of Oxford, North Carolina; Maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Thomas (Gary) of Oxford, North Carolina; one aunt, Margaret Brannick of Oxford, North Carolina; God Parents, Edet and Joyce Nkek; his companion, Shanita Green; six cousins (siblings) Rashun, Alshuni, Ashun, Amias, Dasyona and Dasmeen and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
