Ms. Ernestine Terry, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lillian Harris Terry, Sr., was born in Granville County on February 27, 1946. She departed this life on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Ernestine attended the Granville County schools and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age later moving to Greater Harvest Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Tine, as her family and friends affectionately called her, worked many years at JFD Electronics and later retiring from Murdoch Center.

She leaves many fond memories with her son, Darin "Buck" Rodney Terry of Oxford, North Carolina; one brother, Charles Terry of Oxford, North Carolina; two sisters, Bernice Terry and Ella Bullock both of Oxford, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Etheleen Terry of Oxford, North Carolina; four nephews, Reginald Terry (Tricia), Edwin Terry, Rickie Terry and Adaryll Taylor all of Oxford, North Carolina; six nieces, Meshelle Terry, Shelia Tedder (Mike), Tosha Oakley, Monica Everett, Katrina Everett and Cannan Terry all of Oxford, North Carolina and a special niece Selena James and a great-great nephew, Darius James both of the home and a host of other nieces, nephews and great-great nephews and friends.

We will follow CDC and State guidelines for COVID-19 with face coverings and social distancing at six feet.
