Eugene Durand Lewis was born September 24, 1976, in Vance County. Durand was educated in the Vance County School System and graduated from Southern Vance High School. Durand was a loveable person, who loved his kids and just wanted  to make them smile. He brought so much joy and laughter to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Durand is preceded in death by his father, Plummer Eugene Lewis and his loving grandmother Mary Lewis. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, Andera Silvers, his loving companion of 26 years; three children, Dejana Moet Lewis, Kendrell Durand Lewis, DeAndra Mya Lewis and one bonus son Tyrone Neal Jr (Zhane); his mother Allean Anderson ; four sisters, Ashley Lewis, Jacqueline Maria Wilson, Juanita Maria Crews (Thomas) and Tana Marie Scott; one brother Timothy White and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
