Mr Fredrick Gooch Jr was born in Granville County to the late Effie Lee Taylor and Fredrick Gooch, Sr.

He was educated in the Granville County Schools and was at Clayton Homes.

He is survived by his wife Paulette Bryant of the home; three children, Latoya Gooch and Quentin Gooch both of Oxford and Jessica Gooch of Franklinton; one brother Melvin Taylor  (Annette) of Oxford;  sister Sally Gooch; three grandchildren, Jasysh, Crysta and Joseph; and a host of other nieces nephews and relatives and friends.
