Gertrude (Gregory) Peace

Gertrude Gregory Peace the daughter of the late Odell Rogers Gregory and Gray Gregory on October 24, 1934 in Granville County.

She joined Big AME Zion Church at an early age and attended until her health declined. Gertie as she was affectionately known work many years at General Processors.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Richard Roosevelt Peace and one son Roddy Peace.

Cherished memories will forever be in the hearts of her two daughter, Caffie Peace Wilkerson (Tommie) and Sherry Towler both of Oxford, North Carolina; two sons, Rickey Peace (Gwen) of Oxford, North Carolina and Steve Peace of Raleigh, North Carolina; one sister, Odell Marrow of Sanford, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Shulisa, Anthony, Clifton, Dale, Quincy, and Jada; five great grandchildren, Javon, Clifton, Jr., Serenity, Khamari and one great great granddaughter J'Vaiah and her favorite niece, Marie Evans and a host of other close relatives and friends.
