Mr Johnny Cooper was born October 24, 1950 to the late John Ruben Cooper and Fannie Gray Allen Cooper.

He was a graduate of South Granville High School.

Johnny retired after his health declined from Bandag Industries. He work there 46 years.

He is survived by his wife Dalphine Jones Cooper of the home; a son, Grayson Cooper of Gainesville, Virginia; a daughter Patrina Cooper Davis of Franklinton, North Carolina; four sisters, Sally Landis (Otis), Barbara Tanner (James), Maxine Lyons, and Phylis Cooper; four grandchildren, Kendall WIlliams, Kameron Cooper, Edward Davis, III and Gianni Davis and a host of other close relatives and friends.
