Linda Jones Sidney was born on August 30, 1954 in Granville County to the late Inell Sanford and Charlie Jones. She was called home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by two sons, Leroy Anthony Sidney of Raleigh, NC and Timothy Leon Sidney (Cortlee) of Oxford, NC; a daughter, Lindsay Sidney of Oxford, NC; eight grandchildren, Nadia Sidney, Nyima Cates, Shya Sidney, Emmanuel Sidney, Eileiyana Sidney, Faibion Sidney, Kelis Sidney and Khalid Sidney; one great grandchild, Ah'mari Royster; four brothers, Troy Jones (Jean), Carnell Jones (Rebecca), Charlie Jones, Jr. (Carolyn) and Davis Jones (Carolyn) all of Oxford, NC; three sisters; Dalphine Cooper (Johnny), Juanita Jones (Andrew), Corinea Palmer ( James), Bernice Edmonds and Brenda McCaden all of Oxford, NC, a devoted friend, Merline Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister Lorinea 'Lil Bit' Jones Wilkerson.
