Mrs. Mary Louise Jennings was born September 1, 1960, in Granville County to the late Rosetta Hanks and Clevland Duncan, Sr. Louise as she was called by most, was educated in the Granville County Schools. At an early age she joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Louise has left so many fond memories with her husband James Thomas Jennings of the home; a son, Brad Leon Duncan of the home; two goddaughters, Ty"Naiza Royster and Jah'Nise Williams; two godsons, Dante' Giles and Bryant Williams; one sister, Loretta Comer of Oxford; two brothers, Cleveland Thomas Duncan, Jr. and Nathaniel Duncan (Krystal) both of Oxford, North Carolina; three aunts, Gracie Peace and Lynn Brandon (Willie) both of Oxford and Virginia Cross of Stem; one uncle, Melvin Hanks of Oxford;  mother-in-law, Willie Mae Jennings of Oxford; four sisters-in-law, Maxine Curtis, Machelle Jennings, Rebecca Jones (Connell) and Teresa Jennings; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Jennings and Harold Jennings ; several nieces and nephews and of other close relatives and friends. A daughter Susann Duncan preceded her.
