Mary Ruth Thomas Parker was born March 25, 1937, in Person County to Hattie Harris Chavis and Juliam (June) Thomas.

She is survived by three children, Dandria Parker, Tommie Parker (Jimmie) both of Oxford, NC and Henreka Adkins (Patrick) of High Point, NC.; grandchildren, Kiara Parker, Kia Parker, Tiffany Parker, Jordan Adkins and Skylar Adkins; three great grandchildren: a special devoted friend, Henry McCoy of Oxford, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
