Mr. William Edward Johnson, born on June 4, 1964, in Durham, North Carolina, to the parentage of Martha Chavis Hall and the late James Edward Johnson in Durham, North Carolina.

He is survived by four daughters; Shannon Pegram and Shanada Johnson both of Oxford, North Carolina and Katrina Pegram of Durham, North Carolina and Nichelle Taylor (Zack) of Liberty, North Carolina; his mother, Martha Chavis Hall (John) of Butner, North Carolina; a brother, Roy Antonio Chavis "Sweet Pee" of Butner, North Carolina; a sister, Rosaland Hopkins (Reginald) of Hillsborough, North Carolina; 5 aunts, Elizabeth Worley, Lois Walker, Barbara Bullock (James), Willie Gene Harris (Robert) and Marian Mangum; 5 uncles, Will Henry Chavis, Robert Chavis, Willie Lee Chavis (Linda), Johnnie Chavis (Sandra) and Charles Person; a special friend Tammy Scott of Creedmoor, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded by two sisters, Sandra Denise Lyons and Freda Johnson and also his maternal and paternal grandparents.
