Mr. Willie Melvin McCaden, was born March 7, 1955 in Granville County to the parentage of the late Mattie Lou Lyons and Wilson Crawford McCaden

Those left with a lifetime of memories to be cherished, his wife Brenda Jones McCaden of the home; one son, Melvin Jermaine McCaden of Oxford, North Carolina; one step son, Quention Jones, Sr. of Raleigh, North Carolina ; three sisters, Violet Harris (James) and Shirley McCaden both of Oxford, North Carolina and Shelia Mapson (James) of New York, New York; four brothers, Stanley McCaden (Vickie) of Durham, North Carolina, Ricky McCaden (Jutta) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Floyd McCaden and Omark McCaden both of Oxford, North Carolina; one step brother, Isaac Skipwith of Oxford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Alecia, Marquavis, Karter, Ariel, Justin, Miracle, Poodie and Amir; three aunts Elder Doris Walker, and Alice Harris both of Durham, NC and Hazel Lyon of  Bushnell, Florida; one uncle David Lee Harris (Jan) of Durham, NC; seven sisters-in-law, Dalphine Cooper (Johnnie), Coreen Palmer (James), Juanita Jones (Andrew), Bernice Edmonds, Linda Sidney, Mary E. Hawley and Rhonda McCaden; three brothers-in-law, Troy Jones (Jean), Charlie Jones (Carolyn) and Davis Jones (Carolyn); his God father, Weldon Edmonds and a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
